these remind us of a Persian restaurant in Baltimore. I found the recipe online ages ago and haven't been able to relocate it.
1 lb ground meat
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 medium onion, grated, water squeezed out
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Mix, chill ~2 hours, grill or saute.
